Platelet lysate (PL) is the more advanced version of PRP. Platelets naturally release their growth factors slowly and in a timed-release manner to assist healing over approximately a week. Whereas PL uses a method which allows the concentrated platelets to release (degranulation) the growth factors all at once.
So the highest concentration of most growth factors are immediately available at a single time to play their definitive roles.
